Nomination Information
CREW Network is a global organization that advances all women in commercial real estate through business networking, industry research, leadership development, and career outreach initiatives. CREW Charleston is one of the fastest-growing, dynamic chapters in the Network, with over 170 members and numerous opportunities for members to expand their leadership skills and experiences.
To be eligible for leadership and hold a seat on the Board of Directors, one must be a member of CREW Charleston, must have contributed at least $25 to CREW Network Foundation, and must have served in some capacity as a committee member or otherwise for CREW Charleston or another CREW Chapter recognized by CREW Network. Three years of service as a member of the Board of Directors is required for succession to higher leadership.
The Nominating Committee requests that all interested parties complete and submit a Candidate Questionnaire on or before 11:59 p.m. September 16, 2024 to crewchas@gmail.com.
The Candidate Questionnaire will be used by the Nominating Committee to consider the qualifications of each nominee for service on the Board of Directors. The Nominating Committee will review the Candidate Questionnaire of each nominee and may elect to interview candidates. After deliberations, the Nominating Committee will present its findings to the Board of Directors and will call for a vote ratifying its recommendation.

Will you be available for monthly Board meetings (typically 1 hour on the first Thursday of each month), monthly luncheons (typically the second Wednesday of each month, 10 months out of the year) and attendance at various other CREW events? This Board member will assemble and manage a committee responsible for messages delivered from the chapter - both to members as well as external constituents. This committee often prepares the PowerPoint presentation for luncheons, templates for banners once sponsors are secured, content for the website (to be controlled and maintained by CREW Network), newsletters, media placements, and other published information about the chapter's activities.
Special Events - Awards Gala:
This Board member will assemble and manage a committee responsible for coordinating the annual CREW Charleston Awards Gala held in the fall of each year, recognizing community leaders for recent achievements. The committee will work with sponsorship to obtain event sponsors, will work with communications to communicate award levels and solicit nominations, will organize and oversee a fair selection of award winners, will organize and plan day-of logistics including theme, venue, food, entertainment, decor, etc.
